The campaign aimed to fund the build, medical equipment, medicines and all staff needed for a 12 month period and thanks to our incredible community we were able to achieve this plus a whole lot more.
The Challenge Began In October
Niall decided to take on an insane challenge to save thousands of street dogs by running the Bangkok Marathon with less than 30 days to train.
$240,000 to fund the launch of our brand new mobile sterilization units wasn’t just a random number; it was the exact budget needed to buy the trucks, hire the staff, and purchase the equipment to keep these units running for a full year, launching 8th December. The aim was to show our community complete transparency with our fundraising target so we shared a total breakdown of associated costs totalling $240,000.
Full breakdown of our target budget here:
By late October—a week before the marathon even took place—our incredible community helped us hit the $240,000 goal early.
We had secured enough donations to fully fund the mobile unit and we quickly realized we had a unique opportunity to do even more. So, instead of resting, we moved the goalpost and launched a new target- to raise an additional $245,000. This money was earmarked specifically to fund the sterilization of 7,000 street dogs in December alone.
Running the Marathon
Niall, with no training, completed the Bangkok marathon but the real victory happened thanks to our incredible community. We didn't just hit the second target—we smashed it.
In total, we have raised over $670,000 for street dogs in Thailand.

Where will the donations be going?
We want our community to see exactly how donations are being managed and where their support is going to save street dogs in Thailand. We are tracking every dollar of this budget in a live spreadsheet so you can see the breakdown of costs, from the trucks to the medical supplies.
Our CNVR units are ready to launch
Because we hit our initial target early, we didn't have to wait to get to work.

The Impact: 12,000 street dogs
Because of the overwhelming total raised ($670k+), the remaining funds donated will be able to sterilize over 12,000 dogs in December & January.
This is a game-changer. You can see all sterilizations funded here.
We will keep you updated every step of the way as the trucks roll out and the CNVR programme begins. For now, thank you to our community for supporting our mission.
