On the 12th and 13th of September 2026, Happy Doggo’s founder and CEO, Niall Harbison is running 5km an hour for 24 hours to raise the funds we need to complete Tina’s Hospital. And we’re streaming every minute, live across all our channels.

The run itself is a private event being held in North London, UK. But Niall needs all the support he can get. That’s why we’re offering some places to our incredible community to help get him started and then cheer him over the finish line.

In 2023, we found a dog tied up on a chain, starving and in a world of pain. We named her Tina and little did we know she was about to change the world for street dogs.
She adored her new life and savoured every second she had at Happy Doggo Land. Sadly Tina’s life was cut short after just 6 months with us, but she had such an impact on our team, we vowed to do something important to honor her.
So, the idea for Tina’s Hospital For Dogs Who Aren’t Doing So Good was born.
A place where the vulnerable community and street dogs on Koh Samui will receive the medical treatment they so desperately need.
Today, our dream of a community hospital is finally becoming a reality. The paperwork, the infrastructure and the “boring bits” are completed. All that’s left is to complete the construction, add in the furnishings, and buy vital life-saving equipment.
Soon we’ll be able to treat the street dogs of Koh Samui and the surrounding areas. These dogs either forge out an existence on the streets, struggling every day, or belong to poor local communities who just don’t have the means for expensive medical treatment.
Right now, we still have a way to go with building the hospital. But every day, bricks are being laid, plans finalized and we take one step closer to our dream.
Tina's story with us started in chains. Together, let's create her legacy. Tina's Hospital will give vulnerable street and community dogs in Thailand the life-saving treatment, care and second chances they deserve.
Our goal is to raise $1 million to complete Tina's Hospital. But we can’t do that alone. If just 250 people from our audience raised $1000 each, we'd be 1/4 of the way to our fundraising goal!

While most street dogs who need medical attention can be back with their packs within the day, some need more serious medical attention.
These are the dogs who come to stay at our sanctuary at Happy Doggo Land. Dogs who have been hit by cars, who have been badly abused, or even need to lose some weight, come to us for care and rehabilitation. Often, they’re able to go back and live their lives normally but sometimes they’re rehomed. In this case, they stay with us until they’re ready to travel.

Since the very beginning, we’ve relied on a network of partner charities and animal welfare organizations to deliver life-saving sterilizations. These are the incredible organizations we’re currently working with to deliver thousands of sterilizations through CNVR per month.
Founded in 2003, Soi Dog Foundation was created to provide humane and sustainable solutions to managing the stray dog population on Phuket and to address their medical needs.
Now, Soi Dog Foundation spays and neuters thousands of dogs a year, alongside vaccination, medical treatment, sheltering, and adoption of dogs that can’t be returned to their territory.
WECare was set up by UK vet Dr Janey Lowes in 2014 when she saw the plight of the street dogs in Sri Lanka.
Since then, WECare has grown from a one-man-band to a dedicated team of 30 individuals, working together to help, treat and educate.

VetVan’s animal welfare project started in early 2018 and has quickly taken to the streets, already helping hundreds of animals in need.
VetVan already placed more than 500 dogs and cats into forever, loving homes and sterilized tens of thousands, freeing them from a life of breeding.

Founded by sisters Desiree and Santi Morgenstern, Bali Paws grew out of a need to house the countless sick and injured puppies in Bali.
Starting in late 2023, Bali Paws embarked on a larger sterilization project to tackle the problem directly.
Phangan Animal Care are a non-profit animal hospital that provides life-saving medical treatments, vaccinations, and sterilizations to stray and wild animals on Koh Phangan.
Founded in 2001, PACS helps make veterinary care and sterilization more affordable for pet owners and helps control the street dog population without government-sanctioned culling.
Rescue P.A.W.S.’ mission is to reduce the overpopulation of dogs and cats in Thailand, improve the overall well-being of the street animals in our province, and create a healthy relationship between the human and animal communities. We believe we will achieve this through sterilization, vaccination, and education.
Dog Care Clinic is a charity registered in Germany & Sri Lanka founded by Marina Möbius. Projects include stray neutering, mass vaccinations and care and treatment of injured animals. Every euro goes towards dogs; none is spent on admin.
Their mission is "help for people AND animals" and have social projects such as adopting dogs to senior homes and helping senior citizens take care of their dogs.
Lanta Animal Welfare was founded by Junie Kovacs in 2005. Her mission was to end the suffering of the hundreds of homeless, abused and injured animals on Koh Lanta. To date, they have sterilised and treated over 15,000 animals.
Khun Kae Chollada founded The Voice Foundation in Bangkok in 2012. She visited in 2011, when the great floods hit, to help the stray animals and it was then that she knew something had to be done.
Since 2010, Caros World of Magic has been rescuing street dogs and cats, providing life-saving medical care, helping low-income pet owners, and running free or low-cost pop-up spay & neuter programs—preventing suffering before it even begins.
People And Animals Thailand (PAT) is the latest initiative of Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand.
Located between Hua Hin and Cha Am, the clinic was set up specifically to help deal with the overpopulation of street cats and dogs in the area.
Rob’s Dogs is a grassroots animal welfare project focused on large-scale, high-impact sterilization programs in Southern Thailand. With no shelter, small overheads, and only Thai paid staff, they direct every donation straight to the animals in need.
Alba was an emaciated dog we brought to Happy Doggo Land in January 2025. She was only with us for 12 days before she passed away after a lifetime of starvation, but the impact she had on us and many people around the world is immesurable. To honour her legacy and ensure no other dogs go hungry, we built a kitchen in her name and it's here that our team prepares over 200kg of food every day.
The best way to keep the dogs healthy is to feed them a healthy diet. We've worked with specialists to provide the dogs a homemade meal that gives them the nutrients they need to deal with life on the streets:
There are thousands of dogs on Koh Samui alone, many with medical conditions ranging from skin conditions to broken bones. Our sanctuary is where we bring the sickest dogs, giving them specialized care according to their needs and caring for them until they are healthy enough to go home. In 2025 we opened Tina's Field Clinic our specialist medical clinic in which we're now able to sterilize and treat dogs at Happy Doggo Land.
Many of the sick dogs we come across have owners or local caretakers, who simply can't afford the specialized treatment their dogs need. In these cases, we take dogs to the vets, get them the treatment they need, and bring them back to their home to recover in the comfort of familiar surroundings.
Adoption is not a long-term solution to the street dog problem. There are simply too many dogs and the costs are too high to rehome all of them. However, when we come across a dog that has been badly abused, is suffering on the streets, or is simply too young or weak to survive on their own, we work to find them a forever home in Thailand or abroad.
There are now Happy Doggos living across the world, from South East Asia to Europe and the US. Each dog has had their new family handpicked for them and are all loving life in their new homes.
